We collect account details such as your email and login information, as well as optional usage analytics and crash reports. Device data like app version and operating system may also be collected for debugging and performance monitoring.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to provide and improve Critterlet’s features, track progress and achievements, monitor performance, fix bugs, secure accounts, and support you if issues arise. We never sell your information.

Sharing Information

We only share your data with trusted service providers (such as analytics or crash reporting tools) who process it securely on our behalf, or when legally required. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide services or as required by law. You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account, which permanently removes your profile, study sessions, messages, and preferences. Backups are purged on a rolling basis, though cached content may take some time to disappear.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal data. You can use in-app controls or contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

Critterlet is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, please contact us to have their data removed.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. Please keep your account credentials safe.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in-app with the revised “Last updated” date.
